Fire-Resistant Deck Building & Home Hardening

We build steel-framed decks with wood-look porcelain or composite decking that eliminates the ember ignition risk conventional wood framing creates in the Wildland Urban Interface, plus additional hardening upgrades for homeowners who want to go further.

Custom Deck Design & Build

There's a real difference between building materials when it comes to deck framing. Historically, most decks were built with wood, but with high-quality steel and aluminum now available for residential use, that's changed. Wood is also flammable, a real liability in fire country.

Steel deck framing gives you a stronger, laser-flat, non-combustible substructure. The strength of steel allows for longer spans between posts, so fewer obstructed views if the space underneath is used as outdoor living space too. And it comes backed by a 25-year limited warranty from the manufacturer, something wood decks can't match.
